About the independent brand:

Truthbrush is a female run business (Catherine & Catherine!) who wanted to create a great toothbrush that doesn't contribute to the world's plastic waste problem. They focus on beautiful and simple design that isn't at the expense of the environment. They are a carbon neutral company, based in the UK.

Planet friendly packaging:

Your trushbrush will arrived in a recyclable and compostable cardboard tube. The bamboo handle of the toothbrush can be composted, after you remove the bristles using a plyer! The bristles should be disposed of in your home bin.

About the materials:

Why do we love bamboo?
It is the fastest growing plant on earth - bamboo can grow a meter a day!
It is naturally anti-bacterial, which means no chemical treatment is required for hygiene.
It is strong and durable.
Bamboo absorbs 2x more carbon dioxide than trees. It also generates a vast amount of oxygen, totalling up to 30% more than most plants and trees.
