Soy wax burns cleaner and slower than other waxes and is a renewable and sustainable resource.
About the independent brand:
W + W Workshop create ethically sourced and sustainably made luxury candles in their studio in London. Their founder, originally from Copenhagen, has applied a love for simple design and natural living when creating these beautiful candles.
W + W Workshop want to raise awareness about the importance of reusing, reducing unnecessary waste and recycling when possible. They work with a UK manufacturer to reform old glass into candle jars using 100% recycled glass. Water usage and waste is often a criticism of any recycled product, so they have taken it a step further by ensuring that their production line has a closed loop water system allowing for water to get cleaned and used again with minimal waste.
They have launched a 'Help Us Help Our Planet' campaign to encourage the reuse/repurpose of candle jars as plant pots or even to grow your own food in. It is all about minimising the amount ending up in landfill.
All of their materials are sourced from UK suppliers.
